Tantalum & Alloys

Strength, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance make tantalum products highly desirable in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries and various aerospace, energy and ballistic applications.

With these characteristics Tantalum and its alloys possess a combination of properties that make them excellent materials for high temperature applications in inert atmospheres or vacuum.

We supply different grades obtained by powder metallurgy or by electron beam melting.

Niobium & alloys

Niobium comes from the same ore as tantalum, therefore has similar properties. It is a shiny white metal that is highly ductile, yet resists corrosion and maintains excellent physical properties at high temperatures. Along with tantalum, niobium is one of the top five heat and wear resistors.
Niobium is used with iron and other elements in alloys together with a variety of nonferrous metals, such as zirconium. Niobium alloys are strong and are often used in pipeline construction. The metal is used in super alloys for heat engines and heat resistant equipment.
